Perhaps you've dreamed of charging with The Light Brigade... galloping across the plains with
John Wayne... or winning The Kentucky Derby by a nose - but all pale in comparison to rambling
along on a Western Trails trail ride! So saddle up and come ride with us.
Mount your steed and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Santa Ana River basin.
Explore the grassy hillsides, the chaparral country, the bamboo jungles, the open prairie land
with views of the hills. Meander down enchanting trails gracefully shaded by a magnificent
canopy of bamboo as well as native California trees and plants. Enjoy an unforgettable ride
along the hauntingly beautiful Santa Ana River. Delight in the sand bars and the wetlands with
lakes and water birds. And you'll fall in love with your horse, too!
Fall is here! The days are cooler, the weather is more comfortable, the plants and animals are changing with the change of seasons. Fall is a perfect time to ride horses!
Don't wait for vacation time. We are close to you, wherever you live in Southern California. Centrally located between Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange Counties, we are less than an hour away from most locations in Southern California.
Looking for quality time with your teen or child? Something to do together that you would both enjoy? Horseback riding is the answer! It is not easy to find a good, wholesome activity that you can do with your teen that they will actually like doing. This is it!
Looking for a special way to celebrate that birthday or anniversary? A trail ride beats a new tie or perfume any day of the week!
Regulations
Age restriction: Children must be 10 or older to go out on a trail ride.
Weight restriction: At this time, we have no horses that can take more than 220 lbs, but check
back, as we are attempting to remedy that.
Experience: No horse experience is necessary. We have plenty of riders who have never been on
a horse.
Riders younger than 18 must have a release form signed by parent or guardian. If parent or
guardian will not be present, be sure to contact us for this form!
If you have a western style hat and boots, that is best (there are reasons cowboys wear these
things!), but otherwise, at least long pants and preferably shoes or boots with some kind of
heel (so your foot doesn't slip through the stirrup) are recommended.
